Information
Although parking on the island is free, there are general paid parking lots on the Miyajima-guchi shore side (2,000 yen per night for a standard car with many lots in the area) with these being less expensive than the cost of ferry service for a vehicle. Additionally, even if you bring a car over to the island, you will not be able to use it as almost all of the sightseeing points on Miyajima Island are accessible only on foot. Free parking spaces (open-air parking) are available near Arimoto. If you wish to use a space, please inform the hotel in advance. Please contact the hotel before boarding if you want to bring your car over to the island. Upon arrival at Miyajima Pier, please proceed to the vehicle waiting area in front of the pier. As there are traffic restrictions on the island, our shuttle will guide you to our hotel.
*Please note that use of a car navigation system may guide you to a road that is actually impassable.
